North Carolina Assisted Living Lawsuit Lawyers Obtain $3,000,000 Judgment
The lawyers at Hendren & Malone were proud to represent the family of a gentleman who died as a result of Hepatitis B exposure at a North Carolina assisted living facility.
After several years of hard work for the family, we obtained a $3,000,000 judgment against the assisted living facility and their affiliated company. Fortunately, the investigation of this claim was greatly assisted by the work of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Services Regulation, who determined that the spread of hepatitis at the facility was due to significant failures by staff at the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment. Ultimately, the claim was settled with the insurance company for the facility for a confidential amount.
