Propane Explosion at Wagram Paper Plant Injures Two Workers
Two workers at a paper recycling plant in Wagram, North Carolina were injured as a result of an explosion at the plant on Thursday afternoon. Early indications suggest that the fire was caused by propane cylinders although it is not clear what might have triggered the cylinders to ignite and explode.
The injured gentleman were transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg. The extent of their injuries is not known. It is also not clear whether the injured workers actually worked at the facility.
In cases such as this, the injured workers will certainly have a workers compensation claim.
