A motorcyclist named Berry Lance Davis from Lumberton, North Carolina was tragically killed on Sunday morning in South Carolina.
The hit-and-run wreck happened around 3:30 am on U.S. Interstate 26 near mile marker 216.
According to available information, Mr. Davis was riding his motorcycle with a passenger when they were hit from behind. The driver of the vehicle left the vehicle behind and fled on foot. The South Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
Mr. Davis, who was 37 years old, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The passenger was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
