A tragic accident on June 11, 2020 on Interstate 40 in Greensboro, North Carolina has resulted in the death of a young woman named Kierra Herbin.
The wreck happened at approximately 12:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-40 near the exit with Gallimore Dairy Road.
Ms. Herbin, who was driving a Honda Accord, was apparently struck by a tractor-trailer. The cause of the accident is not known at this time and there are indications that the Greensboro Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the wreck.
Ms. Herbin was transported to Moses Cone Hospital but eventually passed away on June 23 as a result of her injuries. She was 23 years old and from Greensboro, North Carolina.
