A young woman named Kendra Connelly was tragically killed on Monday night in a motorcycle crash near Boiling Springs Lakes, North Carolina. The wreck is the second motorcycle fatality in this small Brunswick County community within the past few weeks.
According to available information, Ms. Connelly was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle when the bike went off the roadway and struck a wall over a culvert.
Ms. Connelly, who was 25 years old, died at the scene. The driver of the motorcycle survived and was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington for treatment.
Police are still investigating the collision to determine whether charges will be brought against the driver.
