A gentleman named Kelvin Watson was tragically killed last Monday in a motorcycle accident in Weldon, North Carolina.
The accident happened at the intersection of Washington Avenue and West Eleventh Street at around 3:30 pm.
According to available information, Mr. Watson was traveling south on Washington Avenue when a woman turned left across his path. Mr. Watson was thrown from his bike and ultimately passed away from his injuries.
The young woman driving the second vehicle was charged with driving while impaired and failure to yield the right-of-way.
