A young woman named Jada Moore was tragically killed in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday in a vehicle accident.
The accident happened on Billy Graham Parkway at around 5:40 pm. According to available information, Ms. Moore and her 3 month old daughter were passengers in a vehicle that was stopped at a red light. A U-Haul truck then slammed into the back of the the vehicle. Apparently, the force of the collision was so significant that the vehicle carrying Ms. Moore was pushed into the vehicle in front of her.
Ms. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. Her young daughter was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The person driving Ms. Moore’s vehicle was also injured.
The driver of the U-Haul was charged with multiple crimes including misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed, and possession of drug paraphenalia.
Ms. Moore was only 21 years old.
