Durham, North Carolina Residents Killed in Virginia Wreck
As reported by Channel 14 News:
Two members of a Durham family were killed Thursday in an accident in Virginia.
Police say 51-year-old Teresa Bridges ran off Interstate 95 in Hanover County and struck a tree. Two passengers, 75-year-old Joe Thomas and 45-year-old Garry Estes, were taken to Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, where they died.
Bridges’ husband, Spencer, suffered life-threatening injuries but her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police say the family was en route to a graduation in Washington, D.C. There is no word on what caused the crash.
