A motorcyclist in Durham, North Carolina was seriously injured on Friday evening in a hit-and-run crash.
The crash happened near the intersection of University Drive and South Duke Street. According to available information, a driver on a dirt bike was traveling west on University Drive when a vehicle traveling east on the same road turned left across the path of the biker.
After the collision, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. Reports indicate that the vehicle was a brown or gold Volvo XC70 or similar Volvo vehicle. Police are asking that anyone with information about the wreck call the Durham Police Department at 919-560-4935 ext 29448.
