A gentleman named Dewey Ingram was tragically killed on Saturday morning when he was hit by a vehicle while riding his moped.
The tragic accident occurred just before 11:00 am on Wilkinson Boulevard at the entrance to the Aldi Grocery Store. Available information indicates that a 70 year old woman was turning left into the Aldi parking lot when she crossed the path of Mr. Ingram.
Mr. Ingram, who was 84 years old, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
