Cape Fear River Boat Accident Claims One Life
A serious boating accident on the Northeast Cape Fear River has claimed one life and injured a second person.
The accident happened when two small boats collided at speed near the Swann Plantation neighborhood. One woman died in the accident and one man was severely injured.

This is obviously a terrible accident and the families of the victims have our deepest sympathy. Hopefully, there will be adequate resources to help the families.
