A bicyclist was injured on Monday after being hit by a vehicle that then fled the accident scene.
The wreck happened at the Interstate 85 North exit for Mount Hope Church Road.
The driver of the offending vehicle was later caught by police and has been charged with felony hit-and-run, driving while license revoked, and failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision.
There is no indication as to the severity of the injuries to the injured bicyclist except that it appears the injuries are not life threatening.
