Wreck Near Sanford Claims Four Lives

A terrible wreck near Sanford has claimed four lives including Aaron Powers, Katherine Powers, Christopher Baker, and Rebecca Powell.

The wreck apparently happened when the vehicle they were riding in lost control and flipped several times. The vehicle then hit a house and burst into flames. The wreck happened on U.S. 421 in Broadway, North Carolina.

The vehicle was a 2006 Dodge Charger which poses at least a question as to why such a new vehicle would burst into flames under such circumstances. We are aware of several recent cases where a post-accident investigation of the vehicle involved in a similar crash indicated design or manufacturing defects that caused a vehicle to catch fire. Cases such as these are very difficult and any victims involved should quickly contact an attorney so that important evidence can be preserved.
