Truck Driver Kenny Maddox Killed in North Carolina Crash With Disabled Vehicle

A gentleman named Kenny Maddox was tragically killed on Friday in a truck accident at the intersection of Interstate 77 and Interstate 485 near Huntersville, North Carolina.

The wreck happened when Mr. Maddox was merging from I-77 South on I-485. Apparently, someone had left a vehicle disabled on the on-ramp and Mr. Maddox could not avoid hitting the vehicle.

Due to the impact, Mr. Maddox’s truck crashed into a wall of an overpass and burst into flames. The District Attorney is considering charges against the person who left the vehicle on the on-ramp.

Mr. Maddox leaves behind six children and five grandchildren.
