Truck Driver Earl Johnson Killed in Lumberton NC Crash

A truck driver named Earl Johnson was tragically killed in a wreck on Sunday evening in Lumberton, North Carolina. The wreck happened at around 10:00 pm on Interstate 95 near Exit 19.

According to available information, a man driving a Ford F 150 attempted to merge onto I-95 and crossed into the path of Mr. Johnson as he traveled southbound in a Kenworth tractor-trailer.

Mr. Johnson then ran off the right side of the roadway and his truck overturned down an embankment.

The man driving the Ford F-150 has been charged in this incident.

Mr. Johnson was 74 years old.
