Sanford NC Log truck Accident Results in Multiple Injuries

A serious accident on Thursday afternoon in Sanford, NC has resulted in multiple injuries.

The accident apparently happened when a van was attempting to turn left into a gas station and a log truck swerved into the center lane to avoid hitting the van. The truck still hit the van causing the truck to overturn and for the logs stored on the truck to spill. The spilled logs then struck another vehicle. The driver of the van was airlifted to UNC and the driver of the truck and the other car were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
