Sandra Verastegui Killed in Cary NC Accident

A woman named Sandra Verastegui was tragically killed on Monday morning when she was hit by a car driven by a 16 year old boy. The crash happened at around 9:30 am on Castalia Drive in Cary, North Carolina.

According to available information, the car came around a curve in the roadway and hit Ms. Verastegui. At this point, it is not clear if charges will be filed against the 16 year old driver. If we learn more about the cause of this serious wreck, we will update this report.
