Rocky Mount Electrical Accident Injures Two Men
As reported by the Rocky Mount Telegram, two men were taken to the hospital Wednesday night following an electrical accident that occurred around 5:30 p.m. while they were working to replace utility poles near North Wesleyan Boulevard and Old Mill Road.
The names of the men have not been released, but they were subcontractors working for Lee Electrical Construction Inc. One of the men was taken by helicopter to the Jaycee Burn Center at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill while the other man, who had less serious injuries, was taken to Nash General Hospital.
