Pedestrian Guy Vanderver Killed in Kill Devil Hills NC Crash

A gentleman named Guy Vanderver was tragically killed on Friday evening in Kill Devil Hills NC when he was hit by a car. The crash happened as Mr. Vanderver was walking across US 159 near 1822 N. Croatan Highway ay around 9:40 pm. Mr. Vanderver was 55 years old. No other information about Mr. Vanderver is available at this time.

Based on the extensive work of the Kill Devil Hills police department, it has been determined that the driver of the vehicle warrants charges including felony death by motor vehicle. The police are still looking fro additional witnesses and anyone with information about this crash is asked to call Sgt. Mike Sudduth at 252-449-5337.
