Pattie Jean Ash-Luck Killed by Drunk Driver in Richfield, NC Crash

A terrible and tragic accident on Friday has claimed the life of an innocent victim named Pattie Jean Ash-Luck.

The accident happened around 5:00 pm on North Carolina Highway 49 just north of Richfield, NC. According to reports, a man traveling south on NC 49 in a Chevy pickup truck crossed the centerline of NC 49 and hit Ms. Ash-Luck as she was traveling north. The driver of the pickup was apparently traveling over 80 mph and there is an indication that he was impaired at the time of the accident. Ms. Ash-Luck was apparently from Whitsett, NC and was headed home after a work-related meeting in Albemarle, NC.

Drunk driving accidents continue to cause tragic consequences on the roadways of North Carolina. Just yesterday, we were in court all day on another drunk driving fatality accident. It is certainly a terrible loss to the family of Ms. Ash-Luck to see yet another drunk driving related death in North Carolina.
