NC 98 Accident Near Wake Forest NC Results in Serious Injuries

A serious accident on North Carolina Highway 98 on Friday has resulted in serious injuries to two people.

The accident happened around 9:30 am between the intersection of NC 98 and Stony Hill Road and Baya Vista Way. It is not clear what caused the accident but this part of NC 98 has had several serious accidents over the years. Like may two lane rural highways, the speed limit is 55 mph on much of this road and accidents frequently happened from vehicles pulling out of driveways as well as vehicles crossing the center-line. We would expect that NC Highway Patrol officers will determine how the accident happened.
