Multi-Car Wreck Results in Nine Injuries in Eastern North Carolina

A serious multi-car wreck in eastern North Carolina late Thursday has resulted in nine people going to the hospital. The wreck apparently happened on Richlands Highway when a woman crossed the center line and collided with several vehicles.

The driver of the car was hospitalized with serious injuries. Eight other people were also hospitalized with less serious injuries.
