Moped Rider Ryan Everette Seriously Injured in Head-On Collision

Hendren Redwine & Malone

Ryan Everette was riding his moped on Sunday evening just outside of Havelock when he was struck head-on by a car coming in the opposite direction.

According to reports, Mr. Everette was riding on Greenfield Heights Boulevard when a car coming in the other direction tried to pass another vehicle and came into Mr. Everette’s lane. The other driver, Michael Sides, has been charged in the accident.

This is yet another unfortunate accident involving a moped, scooter or motorcycle on North Carolina roadways. Unfortunately, drivers seem to continually ignore these types of vehicles which often results in serious injuries for the victims.
