Martha Mintz Killed By Habitually Drunk Driver

A terrible accident on Friday has claimed the life of Martha Mintz.

The accident apparently happened when a 26 year old named Pierre Walker hit Ms. Mintz head-on. The accident happened on Highway 74/76 near the Columbus County and Brunswick County line. Mr. Walker did not have a drivers license due to three previous DUI convictions. It is also reported the police suspect that Walker may have been under the influence of drugs at the time.

Accidents such as this are among the worst in North Carolina. The information on this wreck is not very extensive and it is not clear whether Mr. Walker was driving his vehicle or a someone else’s vehicle.
