Lexington, North Carolina Wreck Sends Two To Hospital

A serious head-on collision on Saturday afternoon near Lexington, North Carolina has sent two people to the hospital.

The wreck apparently happened on Linwood-Southmont Road south of Lexington when a car crossed the center-line and hit a van. The driver of the van, Gale Marlow, was taken by helicopter to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Two passengers in the the van were also treated for injuries. The driver of the car has been charged in the wreck.
