Durham Pedestrian Accident Claims Life of Brian Long

A gentleman named Brian Long was walking along Guess Road just outside of Durham, NC on Monday when he was struck and killed by a motorist.

The tragic accident happened around 12:15 pm and apparently the roadway has a very narrow shoulder at this location. It is unclear from reports why the driver did not see Mr. Long walking along the roadway. A second person with Mr. Long suffered minor injuries.

In many pedestrian cases there is a question whether the driver should have seen the pedestrian due to various road conditions or because the accident was at night.
