Campbell University Students Seriously Injured in Harnett County NC Crash

A very serious crash in Harnett County, North Carolina near Lillington and Buies Creek has resulted in several serious injuries including injuries to two Campbell University students.

The wreck happened at the intersection of Old Buies Creek Road and Sheriff Johnson Road when a car failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck. Two victims from the crash were life-flighted to Duke University Medical Center and UNC Hospitals. Two other victims were seriously injured.

Two of the victims are students at nearby Campbell University.

There is no indication of charges from this wreck but it would appear likely that the driver of the car than failed to stop at the stop sign would be charged for this collision.
