Lydia Stoney is an attorney with Hendren, Redwine & Malone, PLLC. She focuses her practice on Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases for both individuals and businesses. She has experience with liens and commercial disputes and assists clients experiencing insolvency with workouts and settlements.
Lydia is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in North Carolina. Prior to joining Hendren, Redwine & Malone, PLLC, Lydia was a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Pamela W. McAfee at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
She is a member of the Carolinas Chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), American Bankruptcy Institute, North Carolina Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association and the Order of the Barristers. Lydia graduated cum laude from Campbell University School of Law, where she was a member of the Campbell Law Review and the National Mock Trial Team. She won multiple national trial advocacy championships and received national awards and accolades for her oral advocacy skills. Prior to becoming an attorney, Lydia was an educator; she still devotes time to students through volunteer work.
Lydia is originally from Saluda, North Carolina. She currently lives in Raleigh with her fiancée and their labrador retriever, Eleanor.
