A gentleman named Brandon Zeigler has tragically died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash on Friday night in Durham, North Carolina.

The crash happened around 11:40 pm on Riddle Road near the intersection with South Briggs Avenue.  Following the crash, the vehicle involved fled the scene.  Mr. Zeigler survived initially but passed away on Tuesday from his injuries.  He was 33 years old.

Police are looking for any information about the vehicle involved.  Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 919-683-1200.

A gentleman named Alejandro Amador Perez was tragically killed in a Thomasville NC hit-and-run crash on Friday evening.

The crash happened around 8:30 pm on Hasty School Road.  At this time police are looking for a dark grey Ford Explorer that is believed to be the vehicle that struck Mr. Perez.  If we learn more about this crash, we will update this post.

Danielle Noel Killed in Durham, NC Hit-and-Run Crash on US 15-501 near NC 751.

A woman named Danielle Noel was tragically killed on Monday night in a hit-and-run crash on US 15-501 near the intersection of NC 751.  The wreck happened around 11:50 pm.  According to available information, Ms. Noel had stopped her vehicle and placed her hazard lights due to some type of mechanical failure.  She then got out of her vehicle and was then hit by a Honda Accord.  Ms. Noel was 30 years old.

The driver of of the Honda Accord fled the scene and police are searching for this driver.  Anyone with information about this crash is asked to call Crimestoppers at 919-863-1200.

A pedestrian was seriously injured on Sunday evening in a hit-and-run crash on Market Street in Wilmington, North Carolina.  The crash happened around 8:00 pm.  According to available information, the victim was crossing Market Street near the Walmart when hit by a 1980s red or burgundy Buick that should show some front end damage from the crash.

The victim is 31 years old.

A young man named Zachary Turner was tragically killed on Saturday morning in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 77 in Iredell County, North Carolina.  According to available information, Mr. Turner had stopped his car along the interstate and was standing on the shoulder when he was struck.

According to available information, the vehicle that hit Mr. Turner was a white Volkswagen Golf of model years 2006 to 2009.  The vehicle likely has damage to the front of passenger side.

Mr. Turner was 29 years old and from Cornelius, North Carolina.

A gentleman named Robert Turner from Henrico, North Carolina was tragically killed in a one vehicle accident on Monday near Gaston, North Carolina.

The information about this accident is still developing but initial reports indicate that Mr. Turner was riding as a passenger in a vehicle driven by another man on NC Highway 46 in Northampton County, North Carolina.  Just after midnight on April 1, the vehicle ran off the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree.  Mr. Turner was a front seat passenger in the vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

An extensive of local hospitals by the NC State Highway Patrol allowed identification of the driver the next day after he presented himself to Halifax Regional Hospital with serious neck injuries.

A very serious hit-and-run accident on Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh, North Carolina has resulted in the death of a pedestrian.  The wreck happened around 6:30 am between the intersections of Rock Quarry Road and Sanderford Drive and Southgate Drive.  As a result of the wreck, the driver of the vehicle has been charged with multiple serious crimes including felony hit-and-run resulting in death and obstructing justice.

A gentleman named Andre Houze has passed away following a wreck on November 13, 2018 in Durham NC where he was hit by a hit-and-run vehicle.  The incident happened around 9:10 pm on East Cornwallis Road near South Roxboro Street.  Mr. Houze was 61 years old.

Police are still looking for the vehicle that hit Mr. Houze.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Durham Police Department at 919-560-4935 ext 29449.

The Morrisville, NC Police Department is looking for anyone who may have witnessed a serious accident on Saturday night at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Factory Shops Road.  The crash happened just after 10:00 pm.  According to available information, a vehicle pulled out from Aerial Center Parkway into the path of a pickup truck.  The pickup truck then swerved to the right to avoid the collision but struck a Jeep Wrangler.  As a result, the Jeep Wrangler ended up on its side against a utility pole.

The people in the Jeep were transported to the hospital.

A 16 year old river was charged with felony hit-and-run for his role in a Monday afternoon crash that injured two women named Porcia and Rheamon Lewis.  The crash happened around 4:30 pm near the intersection of Falls of Neuse Road and Common Oaks Drive in the northern part of Raleigh.

There is no word on the medical condition of the two injured women and we certainly hope that the will be OK.  Hopefully, the hit-and-run driver has enough insurance to help these two innocent victims.  Read more information about the rights of victims involved in a hit-and-run accident.
