Failure to Yield Results in Injuries to Joanie Locklear and Others in NC Collision

A woman turned into the path of a vehicle driven by Joanie Locklear of New London, NC on Tuesday night causing a very serious collision which resulted in numerous injuries.  The wreck happened at the intersection of NC Highway 109 and Old US Highway 64.

The woman who turned across Ms. Locklear’s path has been charged with a failure to yield.  In addition to Ms. Locklear, other injured victims include Benson Wilkins, Wanda Wilkins, and Akaiyan Hunt.
