A woman named Mary Starks was tragically killed on Monday afternoon in a crash involving a driver that did not have a license or insurance. The crash happened around 3:15 pm on So-Ho Drive. According to available information, a man driving a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a van driven by a gentleman named Thomas Hamilton of Apex, North Carolina.
The wreck caused serious injuries to Mr. Hamilton as the man driving the pickup. Ms. Mary Starks, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, did not survive. She was 80 years old. The driver of the pickup has been charged with multiple crimes.
