Johnnie Burrow Killed in High Point NC Accident

A gentleman named Johnnie Burrow was tragically killed Friday in an accident on Interstate 74 in High Point, North Carolina.  The accident happened after Mr. Burrow stopped on the highway to retrieve some items that had fallen from the back of his pickup truck onto the roadway.  After he stopped, a person driving a Chevrolet Malibu also stopped to help and put flashers on.  While the driver of the Malibu helped Mr. Burrow, a man driving a GM work van crashed into the back of the Malibu.  During the collision, Mr. Burrow was hit and killed.

The driver of the GM work van has now been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and police have indicated that he may have been distracted at the time of the collision.

Mr. Burrow was 67 years old and from Archdale, North Carolina.
