A gentleman named Jerry Eudy was driving his car on his way to begin his school bus driving route when he was tragically killed in an accident on Monday morning. The accident happened around 6:00 am on the NE Connector at Moss Springs Road near Albemarle, North Carolina.
According to reported information, a driver of a Dodge pickup crossed the centerline and struck Mr. Eudy’s car. Mr. Eudy was 59 years old and had become a bus driver only about a month ago.
Albemarle police are apparently considering charges against the driver of the pickup although it would appear likely the driver would be charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
