Nicholas Casey of Beulaville NC Injured in Rear-End Collision

A gentleman named Nicholas Casey of Beulaville, North Carolina was injured on Friday morning when a vehicle crashed into the rear of the vehicle he was driving.

The accident happened on NC 258 near the Family Dollar at around 6:30 am.  According to reports, the car struck Mr. Casey such that Mr. Casey was pushed into on-coming traffic.  Mr. Casey was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

There is no clear indication as to why the driver behind Mr. Casey did not stop or even slow down prior to impact.  We often see these types of accidents due to a distracted driver and, in this case, it would be helpful to request and obtain the driver’s cell phone records to determine if he was using his cell phone or possibly texting at the time.
