Willow Spring NC Accident Results in Multiple Injuries

An accident in Willow Spring, North Carolina on Sunday has resulted in four people suffering injuries.

The accident happened at the intersection of Jackson King Road and Mount Pleasant Church Road.  According to reports, a truck heading south on Jackson King Road failed to yield at the intersection and pulled out in front of a car heading east on Mount Pleasant Church.  The driver of the truck was cited.

Four people were transported to WakeMed in Raleigh which provides trauma care for this part of North Carolina.

In a case such as this, it would be interesting and worthwhile to know if the driver of the truck was distracted by the use of a cellphone at the time of the accident.  Recently, we have seen many accidents where driver inattention due to cell phone use has been an underlying cause of the wreck.
