James Edwards of Wilson N.C. Killed in in Pedestrian Accident

A gentleman named James Edwards Jr. was tragically killed on Saturday evening after he was hit by a car.

According to reports, Mr. Edwards was walking and trying to cross Hines Street near the Lodge Street intersection when he was struck by a Chevrolet Blazer.

There is very little information available about this accident including whether the driver of the Blazer has been charged in the accident.  Given the significant nature of this accident, it would be typical for local law enforcement officers to conduct a crash reconstruction in order to sort out as many of the details of the accident as possible.
