Rocky Mount Man Killed When Horse Trailer Goes Through Stop Sign

A terrible accident involving a truck pulling a horse trailer has resulted in the death of a Rocky Mount man.

The accident happened on Monday morning at the intersection of NC 30 and Oakley Road.  Apparently, the truck and horse trailer ran a stop sign at the intersection and sturkc a car driven by Mr. William Thorp of Rocky Mount.  Mr. Thorp did not survive the accident.
