A terrible and tragic accident in Gates County on Tuesday evening has claimed the lives of two people named Julian Hendrix and Karen Reeves.
The accident apparently happened on NC Highway 32 when a tractor trailer was backing across the roadway attempting to park in a driveway. As the tractor trailer was blocking the roadway, Mr. Hendrix and Ms. Reeves apparently struck the truck slightly rear of the cab.
