A boat accident at Lake Waccamaw on Saturday has resulted in serious injuries to one man.
The injured man, Whitney Pait of Bladenboro, was injured somewhere near the pier just past Big Creek. It is not clear what caused the accident but Mr. Pait almost suffered the loss of one arm as a result of the accident. Based on past experience, we would expect the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission to investigate this accident.
