Lexington NC Accident Results in Three Deaths and Two Injuries

A serious one car accident in Lexington, NC has resulted in three deaths and two injuries.

The accident happened early Sunday morning and involved a 2007 Chrysler Sebring.  Apparently, the car overturned and burst into flames.  Three people were killed and two others were injured.  Police are investigating the accident as it is not clear what caused the car to overturn.

This is a very serious and tragic case.  There are numerous unanswered questions including who was driving the vehicle and what would cause a vehicle such as this to burst into flames.  In some cases involving car fires, accident engineers have determined that there was a defect in the manufacturing or design of the vehicle that caused the fire.  Again, it is not clear what caused this accident or the vehicle fire.
