Rocky Mount Accident Claims Life of Lashunaqua Cooper

A terrible Rocky Mount, NC accident has claimed the life of Lashunaqua Cooper and her young child.

The accident happened Monday evening when a pickup truck crossed the center line on South Church Street and struck the car driven by Ms. Cooper head on.  It is not clear what caused the truck to cross the center line but apparently beer cans were found in the truck following the accident.
