A terrible accident on Saturday in the Robeson County community of Saint Pauls has resulted in two deaths.
The accident happened on U.S. Highway 301 near Lumberton. A 16 year old boy was driving a Ford Ranger pick-up truck when he crossed the center line and struck a Ford Expedition head-on. The driver of the Expedition, Frank Strickland was killed. Mr. Strickland was a pastor at a local Saint Pauls church. Mr. Strickland’s wife and daughter were injured in the wreck.
The young man driving the Ford Ranger was also killed in the accident.
