A terrible accident on Friday has claimed the life of Martha Mintz.
The accident apparently happened when a 26 year old named Pierre Walker hit Ms. Mintz head-on. The accident happened on Highway 74/76 near the Columbus County and Brunswick County line. Mr. Walker did not have a drivers license due to three previous DUI convictions. It is also reported the police suspect that Walker may have been under the influence of drugs at the time.
