Wendell N.C. Accident Claims Life of Stanley Thompson of Selma, N.C.

A gentlemen named Stanley Thompson of Selma, N.C. was tragically killed in a two car accident in Wendell, North Carolina on Friday.

The accident happened at the intersection of Whitley Way and Wendell Boulevard around 2 p.m.  According to reports, weather may have contributed to the accident.  Several other people were injured in the accident including Charlena Thompson and Shieda Johnson of Selma and Karin Knapp and Rebecca Knapp of Wendell.

There is very limited information about this accident except that weather may have played a role.  Under North Carolina law, motorists must drive with due caution given the roadway conditions and it is unclear whether this law will come into play in this accident.
