Raleigh Hit-and-Run Accident Caused By Impaired Driver

A Raleigh woman has been charged in a serious hit-and-run accident on Interstate 440 near the Western Boulevard exit. 

According to reports, the driver of the car rear-ended another car and then fled the scene.  The first driver was later arrested and determined to have been drinking alcohol and possibly under the influence of another impairing substance.  The driver of the second car was apparently injured.
