Charges Filed in Atlantic Beach, NC Tractor Trailer Accident

A tractor trailer wreck that claimed the life of a Raleigh woman has now resulted in charges against the tractor-trailer driver.

The accident happened in November when a tractor trailer owned by Valley Proteins turned and hit Sue Johnson of Raleigh.  Apparently Ms. Johnson was using a marked and controlled crosswalk at the intersection of West Fort Macon Road and West Drive when she was hit.  Tragically, Ms. Johnson did not survive the accident.
