Impaired Driver Causes Death of Two Month Old Child in I-95 Crash

A two month old child named Reginald Best has died following a terrible accident on Interstate 95 in Halifax County last Friday.

The accident happened after cars had stopped following an earlier accident between a car and a 500 pound bear.  While the cars were stopped, including the car young Reginald was riding in, a commercial truck from new Jersey crashed into the stopped vehicle.  The driver of the commercial truck, William Castaneda, was apparently impaired at the time of the accident.

This is obviously a terrible accident and causes me to ask several questions about the commercial truck driver.  Was he really planning to drive to New Jersey in an impaired condition?  What was his previous driving safety record?  Has he had a history of impaired driving?  Nonetheless, this is a terrible accident and hopefully the family of the victims will find answers they deserve.
