There is very little information available about a very serious accident on Interstate 95 on Friday near Enfield, North Carolina.
Apparently, the accident involved multiple vehicles and a bear. The accident was in the northbound lanes sometime around midnight. According to comments on websites, it appears that there were injuries in this accident.
This type of accident will be a challenge for the State Highway Patrol to sort out. With up to eight vehicles involved and a night accident, eyewitness accounts of the wreck may be slim. Hopefully, for the sake of the victims and what are certain to be substantial medical expenses, any reponsiboile parties can be identified.
