Red Springs Woman Maggie Haynes Killed By DWI Driver

A woman in Red Springs was tragically killed on Thursday when a man hit her as she was walking on West 4th Aevnue.

The driver of the car has been charged with driving while impaired, driving with a revoked license, hit and run, felony death by motor vehicle and damage to real property.  Ms. Haynes was only 39 years old when she was killed by this driver.

This is a terrible accident and hopefully the prosecution of this driver will bring some justice for the victim’s family.
