Bertie County Wreck Causes Death of Passenger Robert Peele

A terrible accident early Sunday morning on NC 308 has claimed the life of a gentlemen named Robert Peele.

The accident apparently happened when the car Peele was riding in was struck by a second vehicle.  Peele was a passenger in a car driven by Larry Williams, Jr. when a car driven by Antoine Sessoms crashed into Williams’ car.  Mr. Sessoms and Mr. Williams were hospitalized with injuries as were other passengers.
